About the role#
Allied Global Marketing offers an internship within the Field Marketing division. This role provides an opportunity to observe how marketing campaigns are developed and executed while gaining insight into the agency environment. Interns will work with entertainment, lifestyle, and hospitality clients and will produce a portfolio piece at the conclusion of the term to showcase key learnings.
What you'll do#
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with your team lead to understand promotional, publicity, and grassroots activities.
- Develop pitches to communicate with college media, student organizations, and local businesses.
- Ideate and organize grassroots, retail, and promotional events such as themed trivia nights and targeted contests.
- Gain event management experience by assisting staff at evening screenings or events.
- Use research tools to identify target audiences for campaign messaging.
- Ideate and execute social media and digital campaigns to engage influencers and expand digital reach.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time college or graduate student.
- Ability to receive academic credit for the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Minimum age of 18 years at the start of the internship.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- Location: Hybrid in New York City, New York.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
- Schedule: 2 or 3 days per week, 10am-5pm EST, up to 14 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
