About the role#
As a Business Analyst Summer Intern, you will join our Technology and Operations unit in Nashville. You will support a variety of teams, including institutional investors, portfolio managers, research analysts, traders, and client relationship managers. You will work alongside senior analysts and project managers to learn our business processes and understand how technology powers an investment management firm. This role offers the chance to contribute to real projects while gaining insight into our global investment operations.
What you'll do#
- Streamline and simplify the Trading Order Management process.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to investment decision-making.
- Re-design aspects of client reporting.
- Explore opportunities for automation.
- Collaborate with senior staff to document requirements and define project use cases.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree candidate graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, finance, economics, business, or liberal arts.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status.
- Strong interest in project management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Experience with SQL or other programming languages is a plus.
- Interest in applying AI and emerging technologies to business processes.
