    About the role#

    Alliance Animal Health is offering a paid DVM Student Externship at Lefferts Animal Hospital in Richmond Hill, Queens. This opportunity is open to 1st through 4th-year veterinary students who want to enhance their education through real-world clinical experience. Externs receive 1:1 mentorship and guidance as part of a 10-doctor general practice.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for companion animals.
    • Promote responsible pet ownership and preventative health care to clients.
    • Participate in clinical services including surgery, emergency and urgent care, high-speed dentistry, and diagnostic procedures.

    What you'll need#

    • Must be an active veterinary student currently enrolled at an AVMA-accredited institution.
    • Ability to work as a compassionate team player with strong communication skills.
    • Interest in gaining hands-on experience in a full-service practice environment.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Queens, New York.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
    • Term: Rolling enrollment.
