About the role#
The Software Operations Engineer Intern focuses on improving the visibility, integration, and support of our software systems. You will work on real projects that help keep our systems running smoothly and securely. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop and test integrations using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven workflows.
- Build lightweight automations to reduce manual tasks and speed up issue resolution.
- Analyze logs and system events to find recurring issues or unusual patterns.
- Improve incident triage by connecting monitoring, ticketing, and communication workflows.
- Help manage user authentication, access, and account lifecycles.
- Investigate data discrepancies to support subscription and billing workflows.
- Create reports and dashboards that turn system data into clear insights.
- Document your troubleshooting procedures, integration behavior, and solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with at least one programming or scripting language like Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
- Familiarity with APIs, logs, SQL, or data visualization from coursework or projects.
- An interest in troubleshooting, automation, and how software systems operate.
- Preferred experience includes work with monitoring, dashboarding, source control, identity management, or billing systems.
