About the role#
We are looking for a Process Engineer Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will work under the guidance of our engineers to support process optimization, troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Princeton, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Support process improvement projects by analyzing data, conducting experiments, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Assist with the development and implementation of identified projects.
- Work with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to process equipment.
- Develop concepts and drawings using Creo and AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and technologies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to adapt quickly and show resiliency in your work.
- An inquisitive nature that seeks to understand LCN products and business practices.
- Effective listening and time management skills.
- Creative problem-solving techniques.

- Location: Princeton, Illinois (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $25 to $26 per hour.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
