About the role#
Airbus is looking for a Summer Intern to join the Supply Chain Planning team in Kinston, North Carolina. This role focuses on modernizing strategic planning, validating operational data, and implementing digital tools to support aerospace aftermarket operations. You will work on-site at the Kinston facility, which specializes in producing composite aerostructures for the A350 XWB.
What you'll do#
- Lead the review and update of team operational documents, including work instructions for business case analysis.
- Assist in advancing strategic projects, such as improving the team process calendar and communication tools.
- Validate data to ensure the integrity and reliability of operational metrics.
- Collaborate on creating user resources for the eRSP SeRA tool.
- Manage assigned operational projects from initial planning through to completion.
- Coordinate with team members to gather inputs and finalize deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to work on-site in Kinston, NC, for the duration of the summer.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to prioritize concurrent assignments and create technical documents with guidance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to interface effectively with personnel across various disciplines.
- Preferred experience includes process mapping, data analysis, and the use of project management software.
