About the role#
Join the Industrial Layout Management team for a 4-month internship starting January 6, 2025. This role offers the opportunity to work within an international aviation environment, contributing to strategic projects at the A220 assembly line in Mirabel. You will collaborate closely with project managers, methods teams, and production staff to support workplace organization and process improvement.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple small to medium-scale projects simultaneously.
- Establish project schedules and present them to internal clients.
- Support workplace organization and reorganization efforts.
- Create and update layout drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Conduct observations on the production floor.
- Compile and analyze data to generate reports on improvement opportunities.
- Participate in the development of standard team methodologies.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a university program in Industrial Engineering or Automated Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD software.
- Strong autonomy with a customer-oriented approach.
- Professionalism, initiative, and punctuality.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.
- Interest in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in French; beginner proficiency in English.
