About the role#
This 4-month internship offers the opportunity to work within the Industrial Layout Management team at the A220 assembly site. You will gain professional experience in an international environment while contributing to strategic projects. You will work closely with project managers, methods teams, and production line staff to optimize workplace organization.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple small to medium-scale projects simultaneously.
- Establish and present project schedules to internal clients.
- Support workplace organization and reorganization efforts.
- Create and update layout drawings using AutoCAD.
- Interact with various functions across the assembly plant.
- Participate in developing standard team methodologies.
- Perform observations on the production floor.
- Compile and analyze data to create reports on improvement opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program in Industrial Engineering or Automated Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD software.
- Strong interest in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and process improvement.
- Demonstrated autonomy and a customer-oriented approach.
- Professionalism, initiative, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Advanced French language proficiency and beginner-level English.
