About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for students pursuing a Juris Doctor degree. You will join the Claims department to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry. The program runs from June 7 through August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage litigation from the filing of a complaint through appeals.
- Evaluate claims and oversee litigation defense for insureds.
- Report on trials and negotiate resolutions.
- Participate in instructor-led masterclasses and mentoring circles.
- Collaborate on projects with senior leaders.
What you'll need#
- You must be a candidate for a JD degree to be received no later than June 2028.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- You should demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple priorities.
- You must be available for the full duration of the program.

- This role is based on-site in Jersey City, New Jersey, or New York City, New York.
- The internship is a full-time, in-person commitment.
