About the role#
This Investment Banking Winter Analyst position focuses on Infrastructure M&A Advisory. The role is a full-time, four-month internship running from September to December 2026. Interns participate in a formal program covering project finance, financial statement analysis, and financial modeling. You will work within a team environment, supporting senior partners on active transactions and high-pressure assignments.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the execution of equity and debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, public-private partnerships, and principal investments.
- Develop complex financial models for infrastructure transactions, utilizing macros and VBA programming.
- Manage due diligence processes, including coordination with third-party advisors.
- Develop asset valuations using various approaches.
- Prepare client presentations and participate in discussions.
- Assist the senior team in evaluating investment opportunities and managing existing investments.
- Research potential investment banking opportunities, including target companies, sectors, and geographies.
- Maintain marketing materials and create pitch decks for potential clients.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Graduation date in Summer or Fall 2027.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 80% or 3.7/4.0.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex concepts.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
- A commitment to producing accurate work under tight deadlines.
