Investment Banking Summer Analyst - Infrastructure M&A Advisory - Summer 2027

About the role#

As an Investment Banking Summer Analyst, you will join the Infrastructure M&A Advisory team for a four-month, full-time internship. This program includes formal instruction in project finance, financial statement analysis, and financial modeling. You will work closely with senior partners on active transactions, contributing to high-pressure assignments that impact our clients and the firm. Successful completion of the internship may lead to an invitation to join the firm in a full-time position.

What you'll do#

• Participate in the execution of equity and debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, public-private partnerships, and principal investments.
• Develop complex financial models for infrastructure transactions, utilizing macros and VBA programming.
• Manage due diligence processes, including coordinating with third-party advisors.
• Develop asset valuations and assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch decks, and marketing materials.
• Conduct research on target companies, sectors, industries, and geographies.
• Participate in discussions with clients and senior team members.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Entering your penultimate year of study, with an expected graduation date by summer 2028.
• Exceptional academic results with a minimum cGPA of 80% or 3.7/4.0.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative on complex problems.
• Commitment to producing accurate work under tight deadlines and the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
