Investment Banking Winter Analyst - Infrastructure M&A Advisory - Winter 2027

About the role#

As a Winter Analyst in the Infrastructure M&A Advisory group, you will work on active projects alongside senior partners. The program includes formal instruction in project finance, financial statement analysis, and financial modeling. You will be expected to contribute to high-pressure assignments, with the potential to be invited back for a full-time position upon successful completion of the internship.

What you'll do#

• Participate in the execution of equity and debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, public-private partnerships, and principal investments.
• Develop complex financial models for infrastructure transactions, utilizing macros and VBA programming.
• Manage due diligence processes, including coordination with third-party advisors.
• Develop asset valuations using various approaches.
• Prepare client presentations and participate in project discussions.
• Research potential investment banking opportunities, including target companies, sectors, and industries.
• Maintain marketing materials and create pitch decks for potential clients.

What you'll need#

• An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields.
• Expected graduation by Summer or Fall 2027.
• Exceptional academic results with a minimum cGPA of 80% or 3.7/4.0.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Term: Winter 2027 (4-month, full-time term starting January 4, 2027).
