About the role#

Each intern works on a project developed by a mentor to gain hands-on experience and build a professional portfolio. At the end of the summer, you will present your final project to our leadership team. We hire interns across four areas: Agronomy, Operations, Marketing and Communications, and Energy Accounting.
What you'll do#
Depending on your assigned focus, you will support our core business functions:
- Agronomy: Identify weeds, insects, and diseases. You will make nutrient recommendations based on soil and tissue samples, maintain field plots, and use scouting software to document observations.
- Operations: Assist with daily tasks like loading and unloading grain, feed, and fertilizer. You will maintain equipment, facilities, and anhydrous systems.
- Marketing and Communications: Create and publish content for digital, print, and broadcast media. You will manage social media, update company websites, and handle video and photography projects.
- Energy Accounting: Support the propane contract process by tracking documents, performing data entry, and maintaining spreadsheets. You will also update oil pricing and sales tax exemption forms.

We look for students pursuing degrees in Agriculture, Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing. You should be comfortable in a hands-on environment and possess a strong customer service orientation.
