About the role#
AEW is hiring undergraduate juniors for a Summer 2027 internship in Los Angeles. This 8 to 10 week program focuses on commercial real estate, specifically asset management. You will work alongside professionals across various departments, including acquisitions, research, and capital markets. The program concludes with a team-based case study where you will prepare an investment memo for a potential acquisition.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through different sector groups weekly to gain broad exposure to the industry.
- Participate in asset management, underwriting, and acquisitions work.
- Support assigned teams with ad hoc projects.
- Attend quantitative training sessions and learn to use industry tools.
- Engage in property tours to see assets in different stages of the investment lifecycle.
- Join team meetings and shadow professionals to learn daily responsibilities.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate junior status.
- Foundational understanding of commercial real estate.
- Strong analytical skills.
- A proactive attitude and genuine curiosity about the industry.
- Majors in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
