About the role#
AEW offers a Summer 2027 internship program for undergraduate juniors. This 8 to 10 week experience provides exposure to the commercial real estate industry with a focus on asset management. You will work within a cohort of approximately six interns and be paired with an AEW mentor to support your professional development.
What you'll do#
- Support assigned teams with ad hoc projects.
- Participate in asset management, underwriting, and acquisitions tasks.
- Attend quantitative training sessions to learn financial and operational metrics.
- Conduct property tours to visit assets in various stages of the investment lifecycle.
- Participate in team meetings and shadow professionals to understand daily responsibilities.
- Collaborate in teams to prepare an investment memo for a potential acquisition, including market analysis and financial modeling.
