About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship focused on learning the three core business phases at Aerotek: recruiting, account management, and field support. You will gain exposure to sales processes while working with employees, candidates, contractors, and clients. Successful completion of this program may lead to a full-time offer for our Sales Development Representative program.
What you'll do#
- Post job openings to our candidate tracking system.
- Review resumes and identify qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews for the recruiting team.
- Shadow recruiters as they conduct calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain documentation within our Applicant Tracking System.
- Attend contractor lunches and networking events.
- Shadow account managers during cold calls, client visits, and the client acquisition process.
- Participate in lead generation and cold calling sessions.
- Observe field support tasks, including background investigations, drug testing, and unemployment claims processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university pursuing a BA or BS degree.
- Preference for students transitioning between their junior and senior years.
- Preference for those with a sales degree, minor, or certificate.
- Proficiency using MS Office.
- Prior experience in customer service or sales.
