About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship focused on learning the three core business areas at Aerotek: Recruiting, Account Management, and Field Support. You will gain exposure to the full sales cycle while working with candidates, contractors, and clients. This program is designed to provide practical experience and may lead to a full-time offer in our Sales Development Representative program.
What you'll do#
- Post job openings to our candidate tracking system.
- Review resumes and identify qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews for recruiters.
- Shadow recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain candidate and client documentation in our tracking system.
- Join account managers on cold calls and client visits.
- Assist with lead generation and participate in cold calling sessions.
- Observe the client acquisition and requisition qualification processes.
- Attend contractor lunches and networking events.
- Shadow field support during background checks, drug testing, and unemployment claims processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university pursuing a BA or BS degree.
- A focus on Business Administration or Marketing.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Prior experience in customer service or sales.
- Preference for students transitioning between their junior and senior years.
- Preference for those with a sales degree, minor, or certificate.
