About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship focused on learning the three phases of business at Aerotek: Recruiting, Account Management, and Field Support. You will gain exposure to sales processes while working with employees, candidates, contractors, and clients. This program provides an introduction to our operations and may lead to a full-time offer in our Sales Development Representative program.
What you'll do#
- Post open positions to the candidate tracking system to expand our candidate pool.
- Review resumes and identify qualified candidates for the interview process.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and recruiters.
- Shadow recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Document all activities within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Join recruiters for contractor lunches and attend networking events.
- Shadow account managers during cold calls, client visits, client acquisition, and requisition qualifications.
- Participate in lead generation and cold calling sessions.
- Observe field support during background investigations, drug testing, and unemployment hearings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university pursuing a BA or BS degree.
- Preference for students transitioning between their junior and senior years.
- Preference for candidates with a sales degree, minor, or certificate.
- Prior experience in sales and customer service.
- Proficiency using MS Office.
