About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship for Summer 2027. You will learn the three core business phases at Aerotek: recruiting, account management, and field support. The role focuses on sales and requires you to interact with employees, candidates, contractors, and clients. Successful completion of this program may lead to a full-time offer as a Sales Development Representative.
What you'll do#
- Post job openings through the internal candidate tracking system.
- Review resumes to identify qualified candidates for the interview process.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and recruiters.
- Shadow recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Observe account managers during cold calls, client visits, and the client acquisition process.
- Attend contractor lunches and networking events.
- Assist with lead generation and cold calling sessions.
- Follow field support processes including background checks, drug testing, and unemployment claims.
- Maintain documentation in the applicant tracking system.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program, ideally in business administration, marketing, communications, or human resources.
- Preference for students transitioning between their junior and senior years.
- Experience in sales or customer service.
- Strong business acumen.
- Proficiency with MS Office.

- This role is based on-site in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
- This is a full-time position.
