About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship focused on learning the three core business areas at Aerotek: recruiting, account management, and field support. You will gain exposure to the full sales cycle while working with employees, candidates, and clients. Successful completion of the program may lead to a full-time offer for our Sales Development Representative program.
What you'll do#
- Post job openings to our candidate tracking system.
- Review resumes and identify qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews between candidates and recruiters.
- Shadow recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain documentation in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Attend contractor lunches and networking events.
- Shadow account managers during cold calls, client visits, and the acquisition process.
- Participate in lead generation and cold calling sessions.
- Observe field support processes, including background checks, drug tests, and unemployment claims.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university pursuing a BA or BS degree.
- Preference for students transitioning between their junior and senior years.
- Preference for those with a sales degree, minor, or certificate.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service.
- Proficiency in MS Office.

- This role is based on-site in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
