About the role#
The Sales Internship is a 10-week paid program designed to teach you the three core phases of our local operations: Recruiting, Account Management, and Field Support. You will gain exposure to our business processes while interacting with employees, candidates, contractors, and clients. This role focuses on developing sales skills and business acumen.
What you'll do#
- Post job openings to our candidate tracking system.
- Review resumes and identify qualified candidates for interviews.
- Coordinate interview schedules for our recruiters.
- Shadow recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Document activity within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Join recruiters for contractor lunches and networking events.
- Shadow account managers through cold calls, client visits, and the client acquisition process.
- Observe requisition qualifications with account managers.
- Participate in lead generation and cold calling sessions.
- Work with field support to learn about background investigations, drug testing, and unemployment claims processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university pursuing a BA or BS degree.
- A sales degree, minor, or certificate is preferred.
- Preference for students transitioning between their junior and senior years.
- Experience in customer service or sales.
- Proficiency using MS Office.
