About the role#
As a Venture Fellow, you will apply your business and clinical knowledge in an entrepreneurial environment. You will work with our leadership team to evaluate investments, build new companies, and support the growth of existing portfolio businesses. This is a part-time role requiring a commitment of approximately 15 hours per week for at least two semesters.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate new investment opportunities through due diligence.
- Help develop and launch new healthcare companies, from initial concept to business model development and company formation.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies on strategic priorities like growth, partnerships, fundraising, and new market opportunities.
- Support strategic initiatives across the Aegis platform, including industry events and thought leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate program.
- Previous experience in consulting, investment banking, or business.
- A desire to improve patient outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AI tools.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Public Health, or Health Administration.
