    About the role#

    As a Game Economy Intern, you will work on Call of Duty to understand and improve the player experience. You will use economic theory and empirical methods to learn how players thrive within our games. This role provides insights to game developers and product managers while utilizing our vast wealth of game data.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply your expertise to understand and improve the player experience.
    • Use economic theory and empirical methods to analyze how players thrive in Call of Duty.
    • Provide actionable insights to game developers and product managers.
    • Glean insights from game data using quantitative methods.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a master’s or PhD program in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
    • Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
    • Ability to participate in a 12-week internship starting in mid-May or mid-June 2027.
    • Deep knowledge of quantitative methods including econometrics, probability, and statistics.
    • Expertise in querying with SQL and performing analysis in Python or R.
    • Knowledge of data visualization techniques.
    • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
    • Ability to work well with others and manage time effectively.
    • A passion for game development.
    • Currently residing in the US or open to relocating.
