About the role#
This position is for a Master's level student currently working as a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician. You will join our Rising Stars program to complete your supervision hours and transition into a BCBA role. We provide a structured path to help you prepare for the BACB exam while you work in a center-based environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide early intervention therapy to children ages 18 months to 13 years old in a center-based setting.
- Collect data and implement individualized treatment plans for each child.
- Develop your clinical skills under the direct supervision of a BCBA.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members.
- Allocate 8 hours per week off your direct care schedule to complete BDS modules.
- Sit for the BACB exam within 6 months of joining the team.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician.
- Proof of enrollment in an accredited applicable master's program.
- Accrued at least 85% of your required fieldwork hours, which equals 1700 out of 2000 hours.
- Completion of all restricted hours.
