About the role#
This internship provides administrative and research support across departments including Development, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Finance, and Information Technology. Interns contribute to data-driven solutions and assist in the daily operations of the organization.
What you'll do#
- Perform data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Participate in departmental and team meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with data collection and conduct surveys.
- Participate in creating and delivering data-driven solutions for staff and project teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Finance, Computer Science, or Human Resources.
- Requirement that the internship grants academic credit hours.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory requirements.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking tools.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Middletown, NY (with potential availability in Mount Vernon, NY).
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Status: Unpaid internship.
- Physical requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use standard office equipment, work in an open-space office, and occasionally lift over 15 pounds.
