About the role#
Abode Money is looking for a Marketing and Growth Intern to help us make homeownership topics worth watching. You will be responsible for building our presence on TikTok and Instagram by creating content that makes people laugh and helps them realize they might be overpaying on their home costs. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in Austin.
What you'll do#
- Write and shoot short skits, including recurring bits and street interviews.
- Create eye-catching edits using AI video, image, and voice tools.
- Spot trends, sounds, and formats early to put our spin on them immediately.
- Post 3 to 4 times a day on TikTok and Instagram, turning single ideas into multiple versions.
- Convert podcast episodes and team moments into short clips.
- Run campaigns to attract homeowners.
- Review analytics daily to cut what flops and double down on what hits.
What you'll need#
- You are chronically online and know what is trending before it peaks.
- You are funny and have the posts to prove it.
- You have experience making short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, or Reels.
- You are comfortable using AI tools like Claude, CapCut, and AI video generators.
- You are comfortable on camera or skilled at getting others on camera.
- You have strong taste in content and avoid corporate-style posts.
- You are comfortable reading analytics and changing course quickly.
- You are pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Media Studies.

- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Modality: On-site (4 days a week).
- Term: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
- Compensation: $25 per hour.
