    About the role#

    Abbott is offering a Winter 2027 Engineering Co-op program. This is a paid, full-time opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare industry. The program lasts 6 to 8 months and requires on-site work.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in a structured co-op program.
    • Work on meaningful projects that vary depending on your assigned team and function.
    • Collaborate with teams across divisions such as Structural Heart, Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, Heart Failure, and Diagnostics.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program, specifically in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Availability to work 40 hours per week on-site for the duration of the co-op.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • The ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

    • Locations: St. Paul, Minnesota; Plymouth, Minnesota; Sylmar, California; Pleasanton, California; Irving, Texas.
    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Status: Full-time, paid position.
