About the role#
The 2027 IT Intern program is a twelve-week summer assignment designed for students interested in pursuing a career in the technology field. This program serves as a pipeline for future full-time hires at Abbott. Interns are matched to assignments based on their specific interests, talents, and development needs.

What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (Sophomore or Junior status) or a Master's degree in an IT-related discipline, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Mathematics.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Permanent, unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
- Willingness to relocate during the assignment period.
- Commitment to returning to school following the completion of the internship.
