About the role#
As a Chemist or Chemical Engineer Intern, you will gain practical experience by supporting operations at our Bartlesville facility. You will work on various projects while receiving guidance from your manager and senior team members to help develop your professional skills. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with teams to support daily operations and ensure project completion.
- Identify solutions for clients based on specific customer needs.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Perform assignments using standard engineering principles and follow instructions from senior staff.
- Prepare reports and conduct analyses using computer software.
- Set up Gas Chromatograph applications and verify separations when testing columns.
- Make simple blends for GC testing.
- Follow all chemical lab safety procedures.
- Seek feedback to improve your performance and technical skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field in the United States.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Ability to use critical thinking to analyze situations and develop solutions.
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong communication skills to share information and provide project updates.

- Location: Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
- Modality: On-site or hybrid.
- Compensation: This position pays between $20 and $34 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and graduation year.
