About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering College Co-Op, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting manufacturing and engineering operations. This role involves a mix of daily reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, and project-based assignments.
What you'll do#
- Conduct time studies and cycle time checks.
- Create performance-based reports.
- Conduct delay studies to loss areas to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist the manufacturing team with the implementation of lean concepts in the manufacturing and assembly department.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment at an accredited college or university.
- A major in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Availability to work at least 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on a year-round basis.
