About the role#
314 Action is seeking interns for the Winter 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time position requiring 24-32 hours per week. Interns work across various departments including development, campaigns, communications, and operations. You will be provided with a company-issued laptop and receive a transit benefit for your time in the office.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research for development projects.
- Assist with daily office operations.
- Perform candidate and demographic research.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by internship coordinators.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree-granting institution or recent graduate status.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Google Drive.
- A highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated approach.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Preference is given to students in STEM, political science, or related fields.
- Knowledge of NGP, graphic design experience, or prior experience with political campaigns is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Washington, DC, and operates on a hybrid schedule. Interns must live in or relocate to the DC area, including parts of Maryland and Virginia, for the duration of the internship.
- This position is paid at $18.40 per hour. We are happy to coordinate with your school to help you secure academic credit.
