About the role#
3 Brasseurs is looking for a part-time Laboratory Intern to join our team at the corporate headquarters in Montreal. This role focuses on the science behind our brewing process. You will support our quality standards by monitoring key ingredients and ensuring the consistency of our beer production.
What you'll do#
- Perform physico-chemical and microbiological analyses to validate each brew before it is kegged.
- Cultivate and maintain yeast strains to preserve the aromatic profile of our beers.
- Document all samples with precision to maintain data integrity and production transparency.
- Manage laboratory equipment by performing rigorous sterilization.
- Follow strict hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
What you'll need#
- Current student or graduate in microbiology, chemistry, food science, or a related field.
- No prior work experience is required.
- A first immersion in a laboratory, whether academic or professional, is an asset.
- A scientific mindset with the ability to measure and interpret results accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- A collaborative approach to learning under the supervision of our laboratory technician.
