About the role#
As a Technology Services Intern, you will support day-to-day IT operations and end-user services at Zurich Canada. You will work under the supervision of the Technology Services Manager, assisting with projects and business initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to build technical experience within a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide first-level IT support through helpdesk tickets and walk-in requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Manage laptop imaging, configuration, deployment, and replacement tasks.
- Support onboarding by preparing and installing equipment for new hires.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records using ServiceNow.
- Assist with equipment moves, collections, and refresh projects.
- Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, meeting room technologies, and company events.
- Follow security standards and documented processes while collaborating with IT teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program related to Information Technology, Computer Networking, or Computer Systems Technology.
- Third- or fourth-year students are preferred.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of computer networking fundamentals and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow is an asset.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: The starting salary range is $54,600 to $66,000.
