About the role#
As a Finance Intern at Zurich, you will join our Finance Business organization for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support our financial operations. This role offers exposure to areas including Business Unit Finance, Expense Management, and Reinsurance.
What you'll do#
- Support specific areas within the Finance department.
- Improve the efficiency of Value Management reporting processes for Zurich North America.
- Analyze complex data to generate business insights.
- Assist the expense management team with analysis, data entry, and forecasting.
- Support cash management processes.
- Learn about insurance Profit and Loss statements, international accounting standards, and financial planning.
- Develop skills in SAP BPC, Business Objects, and advanced Excel.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- You have completed at least two years of college coursework and will remain enrolled in the Fall of 2027.
- You possess Microsoft Office experience.
- You are legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
- You have experience in a leadership role and can work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities in customer-focused environments are preferred.
