About the role#
This is a full-time, rolling internship based at the ZF facility in Marysville, Michigan. You will work alongside Maintenance Superintendents to support operational efficiency and facility reliability. This role provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes and maintenance strategies.
What you'll do#
- Manage KPI dashboards and collect data for facility and production maintenance.
- Oversee PM and ticket systems for IT, facilities, and production maintenance.
- Schedule, print, and close maintenance orders.
- Update, edit, and create PMs based on supervisor requests.
- Input data for new equipment.
- Edit and post weekly communication documents on department boards.
- Prepare for and participate in TS16949 audits.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent and current college enrollment.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and accept direction from multiple sources.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for a team environment.
- Self-motivated work ethic.
- Flexibility to work off-shift hours when necessary.
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
