About the role#
As a Student Ambassador at Yugo, you will serve as a primary contact for our apartment community in Gainesville. You will report directly to the General Manager and handle the daily operations of leasing, marketing, and resident relations. This is a part-time position requiring 20-25 hours per week, with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Manage apartment rentals, including generating leads, qualifying prospects, and conducting property tours.
- Process lease documentation, secure deposits, and complete move-in and move-out procedures.
- Handle resident inquiries via phone and in-person, while maintaining guest cards and following up with prospective tenants.
- Assist with lease renewals and accept rental payments.
- Support marketing efforts, participate in outreach, and attend weekly leasing activity meetings.
- Plan resident functions and maintain the community appearance.
- Monitor market conditions, update reports, and manage service requests.
- Ensure all activities comply with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills to engage with residents and prospects.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to solve problems and take initiative.
- Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and online database systems.
- Resilience, adaptability, and an awareness of cultural diversity.
- Ability to maintain open communication with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
