About the role#
This is a paid internship opportunity for Master's level students during the Fall 2026 semester. The program provides hands-on experience in a community-based setting, with placements designed to align with your academic practicum requirements and class schedule.
What you'll do#
- Shadow counselors during home- and community-based family sessions.
- Carry a reduced caseload and implement clinical interventions.
- Facilitate individual, group, or family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
- Attend weekly individual, team, and clinical consultation meetings to support professional development.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation within an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Provide transportation to various locations as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program in a social services discipline, such as social work, psychology, criminal justice, drug and alcohol education, guidance counseling, or marriage and family therapy.
- A current, valid driver’s license.
- Access to a reliable automobile for work purposes and proof of auto insurance.
