Wild West Region Intern Experience

About the role#

The Wild West Region Intern Experience is a part-time, paid internship based in Meridian, Idaho. This role supports local ministry while connecting with a regional cohort of interns through monthly calls and check-ins. Interns receive individualized training supervised by an area director, focusing on personal spiritual maturity, character development, and ministry skills.

What you'll do#

• Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life.
• Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
• Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
• Participate on a team to implement a summer and school-season camping strategy.
• Engage in all levels of contact work and assist with club and discipleship ministry.
• Assist with office administration, expense reporting, and goal setting.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a college degree program, with preferred majors including Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, Philosophy, or Nursing.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Agreement with the Young Life Statement of Faith and commitment to the organization's ministry mission.
