About the role#

This Student Staff position in South Dayton, OH, provides an opportunity to gain field ministry experience through training and direct engagement. This role focuses on spiritual development, leadership growth, and active participation in Young Life ministry. Please note that all employees are required to sign the Young Life Statement of Faith and abide by the organization's policies regarding religious belief and ministry activities.

What you'll do#

• Participate in effective Young Life ministry, including contact work, club activities, and discipleship.
• Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster spiritual life, including prayer, reflection, and engagement with a church community.
• Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development and meet regularly with volunteer leaders.
• Assist with leadership development by learning to recruit and train new team members.
• Raise financial support as directed and maintain communication with donor partners.
• Manage administrative tasks, including expense reporting and office assistance, while adhering to organizational policies.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a college degree program, ideally in Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
• Proven relational skills with both adolescents and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• A commitment to the Christian mission and ministry of Young Life.
