Mission Staff Intern - Parkway WyldLife

About the role#

The Mission Staff Intern for Parkway WyldLife will gain hands-on experience in ministry through training and direct field engagement. This part-time role, requiring 10 hours per week, focuses on developing leadership skills, spiritual growth, and resource development. Candidates must be local to Colorado Springs and have prior experience with Young Life. Please note that this position requires the signing of a Statement of Faith as it is an integral part of the organization's Christian mission.

What you'll do#

• Learn to lead and participate in effective Young Life ministry.
• Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life.
• Meet with volunteer leaders and area leadership on a regular basis.
• Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
• Manage finances with stewardship, accountability, and transparency.

What you'll need#

• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• A college degree is preferred.
