About the role#
Young Life is seeking a Student Staff member for Oldham County to support our mission of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This role involves active participation in spiritual development, leadership, resource development, and direct ministry. Please note that all employees are required to sign a Statement of Faith and must be prepared to minister as a servant of God.
What you'll do#
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Actively engage in all three levels of contact work.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
- Manage finances with stewardship, accountability, and transparency using mission-wide applications.
- Set yearly ministry and personal goals and objectives, reviewing them on a regular basis.
What you'll need#
- Completion of Core Training Phase One.
- Experience with one or more clubs.
- Proven experience in direct ministry.
- Strong relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Academic background in Psychology, Communications, Sociology, or Philosophy is preferred.

- This position is based in Oldham County, Kentucky.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
- The term is rolling.
- Candidates are required to live locally to effectively engage in ministry and partner with the Area Director.
