About the role#
The Student Staff position for the Greater Waco/Baylor area focuses on ministry leadership, spiritual development, and resource management. This role involves active participation in the Young Life community, requiring a commitment to evangelism, discipleship, and the organization's Statement of Faith. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development through prayer, fellowship, and growth.
- Recruit and train new leaders to build a team that reflects the community.
- Engage in all three levels of contact work and participate in club and discipleship ministries.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain donor care practices.
- Adhere to all organizational policies regarding professionalism, conduct, and time management.
- Participate in regional and area training to develop ministry skills and personal character.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with relevant study in Psychology, Communications, or Human Resources.
- Proven relational skills with both adolescents and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Agreement with and subscription to the Young Life Statement of Faith.
