About the role#
Young Life is seeking a Student Staff member for the Greater Lake Norman, NC area. This is a remote, full-time, paid position that operates on a rolling basis. Applicants must be currently pursuing a college degree in fields such as Nursing, Psychology, Philosophy, Communications, or Public Health. Please note that all employees are required to sign and adhere to the Young Life Statement of Faith, as this role involves active participation in the organization's Christian ministry and evangelism mission.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster a vibrant spiritual life.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain donor care practices.
- Participate on a team to implement a summer and school-season camping strategy.
- Adhere to all Young Life policies and procedures while maintaining professional standards in conduct and time management.
What you'll need#
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A commitment to the organization's ministry functions and religious standards.
