About the role#

The Southern Chester County Student Staff position is a part-time, paid role designed for students pursuing a college degree. This position focuses on spiritual development, leadership training, and ministry support. Employees are required to profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith.

What you'll do#

• Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
• Actively engage in all three levels of contact work.
• Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
• Participate in team-led ministry activities, including club, Campaigners, and camping strategies.
• Assist with office administration, expense reporting, and general business tasks.
• Participate in regional and area-specific training, including mentorship and ministry skill development.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a college degree program.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Preferred majors include Psychology, Communications, Political Science, Sociology, Business Administration, or Human Resources.
