About the role#

The Chester County Student Staff position is a paid, full-time role based in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This position involves active participation in the Young Life mission, focusing on evangelism, discipleship, and ministry support. Employees are required to profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and must subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith and organizational policies.

What you'll do#

• Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development and participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community.
• Conduct Young Life club and discipleship ministry in collaboration with a leadership team.
• Raise financial support and maintain consistent donor care practices.
• Participate in leadership development, including recruiting and training volunteer leaders.
• Assist with office administration, expense reporting, and general business operations as assigned.
• Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and professional standards regarding conduct and time management.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a college degree in fields such as Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, Nursing, Philosophy, Sociology, or Political Science.
• Proven relational skills with both adolescents and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all professional and ministry matters.
