2026 Summer Intern Experience

About the role#

The 2026 Summer Intern Experience is a full-time, paid opportunity based in Newberg, Oregon. This program is designed for individuals who have completed the Northwest Division Summer Intern Experience (SIE) candidate process and have been affirmed. As a religious organization, Young Life requires all staff and volunteers to profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and to subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith.

What you'll do#

• Serve on a local volunteer leader team with students.
• Attend all required training sessions.
• Participate in all summer internship cohort meetings.
• Meet with your mentor on a weekly basis.
• Provide evaluative feedback regarding the program to your cohort lead.

What you'll need#

• Completion and affirmation through the Northwest Division Summer Intern Experience (SIE) candidate process.
• Alignment with the Young Life mission and commitment to the organization's Statement of Faith.
• Ability to fulfill ministry functions and adhere to organizational policies regarding conduct and religious standards.
• Academic background in fields such as Philosophy, Psychology, Communications, or Sociology.
