About the role#
The 2026 Summer Intern Experience is a full-time, paid opportunity based in Newberg, Oregon. This program is designed for individuals who have completed the Northwest Division Summer Intern Experience (SIE) candidate process and have been affirmed. As a religious organization, Young Life requires all staff and volunteers to profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and to subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith.
What you'll do#
- Serve on a local volunteer leader team with students.
- Attend all required training sessions.
- Participate in all summer internship cohort meetings.
- Meet with your mentor on a weekly basis.
- Provide evaluative feedback regarding the program to your cohort lead.
What you'll need#
- Completion and affirmation through the Northwest Division Summer Intern Experience (SIE) candidate process.
- Alignment with the Young Life mission and commitment to the organization's Statement of Faith.
- Ability to fulfill ministry functions and adhere to organizational policies regarding conduct and religious standards.
- Academic background in fields such as Philosophy, Psychology, Communications, or Sociology.
