About the role#
WSP is seeking a full-time Overhead Transmission Line Design Engineering Intern for our Saint Louis, Missouri office. This internship takes place during the Summer 2027 semester. You will work alongside senior staff on projects to build your technical, social, and ethical skills.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering tasks to develop professional skills.
- Learn basic principles of Civil Engineering.
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
- Support the preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Complete training on assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited Civil Engineering or related undergraduate program.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Demonstrated interest in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, and technical tools.
