About the role#
This is a 12-week summer internship program within the Power and Energy team. You will work alongside senior staff on real projects to build your technical, social, and ethical engineering skills. The program begins on May 17, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn basic principles of Civil and Structural Engineering.
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
- Support the preparation of final design plans, cost estimates, and special provisions.
- Collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks and follow company policies regarding resources and conduct.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited Undergraduate, Masters, or PhD program in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, spreadsheets, and related tools.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
- Locations: Ft Worth, Texas or Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
- No relocation or housing assistance is provided.
