About the role#
The Community Impact Internship offers a 10-week summer program for students interested in financial services. You will learn how the bank supports communities through volunteerism, charitable giving, and local partnerships. This role involves working alongside professionals across various business lines to advance our social impact strategy.
What you'll do#
- Support projects, research, and operational activities within your assigned business area.
- Present your findings and work to Senior Leaders.
- Participate in volunteer initiatives, employee resource groups, and company social events.
- Collaborate with fellow interns and experienced professionals on meaningful business initiatives.
- Gain exposure to strategic decision-making and real-world banking operations.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You need to have completed at least one full year of college by May 2027.
- A major in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or Operations Management is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundamental computer skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work on-site up to 5 days per week.
- Availability for both in-person and virtual interviews, plus an in-person orientation.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Wilmington, Delaware.
- The program runs for 10 weeks, starting in early June and ending in mid-August 2027.
- This position is on-site.
- We do not provide work visa sponsorship for this role.
