About the role#
This summer internship offers a hands-on look at how a bank supports its local area. You will learn how we use volunteerism, charitable giving, and community partnerships to make a difference. You will join our team for a 10-week program designed to provide real-world experience and professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Support initiatives that advance our social impact strategy.
- Help create meaningful outcomes for the communities we serve.
- Work alongside professionals across multiple business lines to gain exposure to operations and strategic decision-making.
- Support and present on projects, research, or operational activities to Senior Leaders.
- Participate in volunteer initiatives, employee resource groups, and social events.
What you'll need#
- You are at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You have completed at least one full year of college by May 2027.
- We prefer majors in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Communications, Sociology, or Political Science.
- You possess fundamental computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- You have strong oral and written communication skills.
- You demonstrate critical thinking, analytical abilities, and organizational skills.
- You can work both independently and as part of a team.
- You have reliable transportation.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position based in Wilmington, Delaware.
- The role is on-site, requiring you to work from our office up to 5 days per week.
- You must be available for in-person orientation and interviews.
- This program runs for 10 weeks, starting in early June and ending in mid-August 2027.
- We do not provide work visa sponsorship for this position.
