About the role#
This internship focuses on research and data-driven experimentation within the decentralized finance space. You will join a collaborative team of traders and developers to explore the ecosystem, challenge ideas, and pursue new areas of inquiry. The role is designed for students interested in a 6-month placement.
What you'll do#
- Research on-chain protocols and execute data-driven experiments to advance the understanding of decentralized finance.
- Work across multiple codebases and languages to explore the frontiers of the ecosystem design space.
- Collaborate closely with experienced traders and developers to receive mentorship and contribute to team projects.
- Participate in a team environment that values open dialogue and creative exploration.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in programming with either Rust or Python.
- Experience working in Linux environments and using Git version control.
- Practical experience with programmatic statistical analysis and quantitative skills.
- A high level of understanding regarding high-frequency market making strategies.
- Knowledge of blockchain fundamentals and the mechanics of the EVM.
- Familiarity with smart contract development and the Foundry toolkit.
- A strong interest in learning about protocol microstructure and design mechanisms.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
